Examiner Testimonial

August 4, 2014

Recently The Examiner conducted an asbestos audit, developed an asbestos register and management plan of its Paterson Street building.

After consideration of the options, The Examiner chose to remove the asbestos-containing materials identified, and Mendelssohn Construction was engaged to complete the removal works.

With more than 50 employees affected, and round the clock operations, the removal strategy was created in consultation with staff to minimise disruption.

The Examiner’s general manager, Phil Leersen, said Mendelssohn Construction made the process quick and as unobtrusive as possible.

“We sought the services of a qualified asbestos removalist and chose Mendelssohn Construction because of their thorough and analytical approach to the project,” Mr Leersen said.

“They kept the project team involved and informed on the process and were professional and sensitive to the operational needs of our business.

“Their mantra of safety first was evident in everything they did”
