About The Project
Risdon Prison Complex is an Australian medium to maximum security prison for males located in Risdon Vale near Hobart, Tasmania. The facility is operated by the Tasmanian Prison Service, an agency of the Department of Justice of the Government of Tasmania. The facility accepts criminals convicted under Tasmanian and/or Commonwealth legislation.
The scope of works was extremely high risk requiring a level of expertise to ensure a safe environment for our workers and a quality result was delivered.


Remove Friable asbestos debris from the prison grounds, source or asbestos was roof membrane to the education building which parrots had eaten and carried over the prison, excavate and remove soil around the building and to the inmate oval, reinstate with grass and gravels, remove membrane to roof top and waterproof, install new solid roof over existing structure. Reinstate offices below the roof due to extensive water damage
